…and we’ll never know what’s on the other side of our fear, if we don’t face it
Nicolette Richardson
After a few months away. I have learned a lot of things about myself, about my friends and family and how to live a more wholesome life. The life we live isn’t about how good it looks to other people.
For a long time I toyed with taking just the right amount of time off so I could still be viewed as “valuable” at work and also not seem like a hypocrite when telling folks to “take a break”. I love a vacation as much as the other person; but taking a break for reasons that did not include a vacation were harder for me to grasp.
In this podcast episode, hear how I changed my mind about letting go; when I finally decided to put myself first; and how I manage knowing when to take a break and when to keep pushing.
Your life is only as good as it feels to you
