Episode 36: A Life Without Limits with Ariane Collman

We had so much fun in this interview! In this episode I speak with an old friend who is making waves in the Canadian film Industry.

Ariane Collman is an Assistant Director in Canada’s Film and Television industry. She is a member of the DIrector’s Guild of Canada and has worked on many productions including: Quantico, John Wick, The Bold Type and X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Since setting out on her path in Kingston, Jamaica she has soared beyond her wildest dreams. When she’s not working at base camp or on set in Montreal, she can be found exploring the world.

As we talk about Ariane’s triumphs and successes we also tackle:

  • Racism in Canada
  • Starting over in a new country
  • Female friendships
  • What it means to be constantly evolving
  • Adapting to a new environment

I also open up about an experience I have never shared publicly.

  1. Thank you so much for having me! We had so much fun and I can’t wait to share our conversation with everyone. Keep up the great work! 🙂

  2. Great podcast episode! Enjoyed every second of it. Wonderful interview. Loved hearing Ariane’s story and experiences. I’m so sorry that you both had those awful racist experiences. ‘The Skin We’re In’ is such an amazing book. Highly recommended. Again, amazing episode!!
