Eleven years ago, Nikki Solano boarded a plane to Costa Rica for the first time. She fell in love immediately.
To her, Costa Rica is as close as it gets to paradise, and she’s felt at home ever since. With over a decade of exploring Costa Rica under her belt, Nikki has made a career out of guiding travellers to her adopted home, providing valuable insight on how to experience Costa Rica like an insider, supporting local and sustainable businesses, and respectfully engaging with the culture. She and her husband run a few sustainable tourism initiatives and she is also the author of the Moon Travel Guide to Costa Rica.
